I'm new to the import scene, and just bought myself a 1992 skyline gts-t r32. I was looking to do some upgrades on the car and decided to put a turbo in, as the stock one (rb20det motor) is leaking some oil. I want to be able to do this without major modifications to what is already in the car. Also there is a hesitation/backfire at around 3-4 thousand rpm. Hoping to have this solved soon. thank you!

The hesitation could be from your coil packs, spark plugs, or igniter. I had the same problen on my 1994 R33 Gts- T. I replace the plugs and upgraded the old coil pack with some splitfire coilpacks. A huge difference in response. As for the turbo... it would be a good upgrade but try not going to big until you are ready. Id also upgrade the fuel system and ecu as you are going to have to tune the care after the turbo upgrade.
