i have a 02 honda ccord lx automatic and the transmission is terrible. I bought the car for 4,000$, whenever the car shift into 2nd gear i get this really bad jerking movement. I went to my local jiffylube and the guy told me this model was recalled due to transmission failure, i told him i wanted to sell the car and he made me in offer of of 1,600. Do u guys think i should sell the car for that price or raise up the price a little?

or for $800 or less, you can go buy a transmission and put it in. that guy will by the car, spend a few $100 on it and sell it for $3500.

to be honest, i would fix the transmission and use the accord as a daily driver. the most i would do to it is maybe some rims and some drop springs. besides that. i wouldnt spend to much money in the aftermarket of that car. save your money and buy a good project car.
