need some help deciding

I recently bought a stock 1986 toyota mr2 and I wanted to know some good mods I could do to the engine. I don't really want to do too much to it because its going to be a daily driver type car. Also I would like to know what wheel with an off set  would look good on it because I don't like the stock wheels.
