So I'm gonna start this off by saying hello import tuner community!!!
I'm trying to start my awd project by first getting an all wheel drive car but not sure if I wanna do the more common impreza or some other that hasn't really been thought of can everybody help me out on this one I have 4000 willing to spend to get the car and throughout my project will be getting like $10,000 more please any input on this would be great even if it is negative input

I like the premise of this project and I'd suggest going with a late 90's/early 2000's 2-door Impreza. They are AWD, are actually fairly rare, and drive and look great when done right. A lot of 2-door Imp owners put in newer STi gear, so it would have a lot of potential and you can get one within your price range.
Regardless of what car you choose I'm really looking forward to your thread documenting the build. Good luck!

Thanks Ive been thinking alot on these early model imprezas like the 97 it's just so hard to find one that's Not an automatic hopefully I can get one soon so I can start my project so that being said if anybody is selling one or you know someone that's selling a standard transmission 94 01 impreza for less than $4,000 let me know

so honestly 408 views but not a damned reply guess no one cares any more about anything maybe I_T needs to try to expand like have a meet cause i see small tech forums with more info heads and more loyal members and I_t has been around since i was a kid maybe they need a new team lead like me

or haven't been on in awhile.  Yeah, there is a 5spd awd 96 subaru outback for sale here in sissonville, wv for sale if you're in the area, Kngskrew. I was going to buy it but ended up with a pos 2000 saturn SC2 with too many problems.
