Well currently i have 1968 ford galaxie 500 fastback with a built 390 it does great on power and is really fun. i am going to college next fall and cannot drive her so i bought a 87 nissan 300zx n/a with t tops its very slow in my opinion but still fun. recently someone offered to trade me a 1998 Honda Civic ex straight across. i love hondas but have never heard anything good about their speed and power. the civic i was offered has a cold air intake, short shifter, header, and a stage 2 clutch. would this car be fast? would it be worth the trade? how would it stand up to a slightly modded 96 eclipse?
thanks for your help, dylan

A 300zx for a slightly modded Civic?  Nah, even if it's an older 300 I wouldn't trade it for a Civic.  Maybe if the 300 was already pretty worn down or do it for the Civic and some cash.

What kinda shape is the 300 in?

um, no, dont do it. the 300zx is a classic that has huge potential. if you trade the 300zx for a civic, you will go down the as the dumbest person in the import world.

the 300 has 214000 miles but still runs perty strong. it also has a lot of dents and one rust hole, but other than that it is really great. i was thinking the civic because it gets way better gas mileage and i could re sale it for more.

If it's just high miles and body work don't trade it.

if you fix the body, you could sell the 300zx for more then two to three hondas.

from what i have seen on craigslist the 1987 300s dont go for that much. i could pick up a turbo 300 for about 3 grand. when i bought it i got it for $800.

where? if you can pick one up for 3k, do it. that is a good price. most z31 that i see are still going for 6500. i could pick up 3 hondas for 300 a piece and put another 300 into each of them and only get 2000 for all three. you could put 700 into that z31 and get back 2500-3000
