Hello everyone, I am new on here and first off I wanted to say, "Hey!" I wanted to know is what are good first cars in general for tuning. I have several cars in my head as I am writing this thread. 1996 BMW 325i, 1997 BMW 323i, 1997 Honda Civic Hatchback. So what I want to know from you all is what in your opinion is the best first car for tuning. Preferably, a rear wheel drive car, but if it is a hatch I don't care.

get the hatch its more economical in parts, info and tuning. Hatch is a good starter or a S13 240sx if you want rear wheel drive and comes with either a ca18DE, ca18DET engine or Silvia 240sx with SR20DET.
do your research because it also goes by how much you are will to spend.

if he is in america, then the 240sx only comes with a ka24de. not a bad engine, but a fun car to own.
