94 Eclipse Help

i have a 94Eclipse Base model 1.8L FWD. I was planning on putting work into this car. But i dont know if its worth my time. Is there another engine that would fit in this car? What could i do to this engine to make it faster?

There are other engines that will fit the car, but Eclipses are not my forte.  Wait for a response from Godfather, he knows what's up with Eclipses.  On that note, it will almost always take longer than half an hour before you get a response from someone.  I check the forums on an almost daily basis, but I am not refreshing the page every 5 minutes.  Probably wait at least a couple days before you bump your topic.  

Oh and on improving the current performance, check the "Where to Start" guide.  I think it is still in the active posts page.  

the 4g37 is the same engine that is in the mirage. the best swap for that car is the 4g63 from the gst or gsx. be happy that you have the 1g. the 2g gs and rs have very little in common with the gst and gsx. that engine can be bored out to a 2.0, but i would get the 4g63 instead. you can also drop in the 4g64 from the 2g gs spyder.

Ya know, I never dealt with an N/A DSM, I had no idea the 2G N/A was that different from the TSi and GSX.
