Tuner Logo - Your input needed

I have been asked to do I design/ logo that is two letters, in a tuner style lettering.  That would be embroidered on seat covers and sold at automotive parts retailers.  If you GOOGLE  NX Racing seat covers,  they want something like this,  customer was thinking LT Racing which is the initials of their brand.  What do you think of LT Racing?  Can you suggest some other letters and explain why they would connect with the Tuner crowd?  Or maybe letters are not the way to go, any ideas maybe a turbo, but then again not everybody has a turbo in their car.  So open to all ideas.  Will post the final design they pick.

Why LT?  If it is going to go on the back of seat, I would just do something simple.   Think Bride seats design.  

The name of the company is Lethal Threat Designs.  Not sure to do a logo with an import style font of their name Lethal Threat or LT Racing, or some car related component.  Their main product are decals and graphics and they want to do a line of automotive interior accessories, such as seat covers floor mats and so on.  Really aimed at the wanna be tuner.  I would like to at least make it as authentic as  I can.  So was looking for feedback from the Tuner crowd of their ideas, so far you are the only one who responded. Looking to come up with a design / logo that would be on all their accessories  Another company some years ago did a logo that was NX Racing,  as far as I know it was made up, it was not associated with any car component or product,  but it sold really well in Auto Zone and places like this.  Lethal Threat is thinking to do the same idea.
I am not in the Import Tuner world so any feedback or direction is appreciated.  

Well a lot of tuners aim to have a clean looking car, which more or less means aggressive looking, but also simple and sleek at the same time.  I would go with the same idea with your logo.  Just keepit simple, but also make it have some impact.

As far as what you said about the turbo idea, I agree.  I feel that adding a turbo to the design would limit the number of people who would want to buy it.  Think about the company.  if its lethal threat designs, combine something considered lethal with something performance-car-oriented and go with that.  

When you say something performance - car - oriented can you be more specific?  

Something that has to do with performance/modified cars, but has to do with all of them, so not a turbo or something like that.  That's just one angle though.  Just keep it simple, keep it clean, and it'll be fine.
