Was looking to do an engine swap, with the engine I can spend around $3000.
Has to be automatic.
Was thinking about going with the JDM B18c, is that the best option?
Can someone give other suggestions? or is this good?

ps this is my first car.

a b-series swap is significantly cheaper then a k-series swap but if you only have a $3000 budget, a JDM b18c might be out of your price range since most of the ones i've seen were at least 3500.  if you shop around you might be able to find 1 that's cheaper but chances are it will either be not worth buying or it wont' leave you with enough room in your budget to complete the swap.

unless anything is significantly wrong with the engine that's already in the integra  i would just stick with that.

Spend the $3K on a car that has a manual trans or do a trans swap with the engine swap.

try to get a b18c1 or a b18c5. those should be in your price range. if you currently have a auto tranny in the car, it will bolt up to the b18. all be series parts are interchangeable. or you can go with a b20 block with a b18c head.
