Well, I'm new to the Import scene. My friend bought a Subaru Wrx which is what got me into them. I'm not a huge fan of the Wrx but I'm more in to the Nissan 180sx, Nissan Silvia S15, Mazda RX7 and Toyota Supra (2jz). I have money, that's not the issue, i just want opinions on which one to get, which mods to get for that specific one and drifting capabilities.
Cheers

S15, would be an awesome pick. A Supra in my opinion has too much power coming out of the end you can't control. Plus it's heavier than the s15.

Yeah, they look hell nice but handle pretty bad, i think a S15 or an RX7. do you agree?

Whoa guys, major TRD fan here so let's be nice to the Supra lol (happy to say I might be getting one in the near future; the 3G though, 4G Supras are way too expensive).  Seriously though, S15 over RX7.  Imo, the S15 looks more clean and requires less maintenance.

I was aimed at the S15, but i cant find many reasonable ones on the market so im thinking of getting a 180sx and doing a strawberry S15 conversion. So the final product will be a S1580 (Google it). they are a combination of the two best parts of my two favorite cars, I love the rear end of the 180sx but dislike the front end and i love the front end of the S15 so thank to the Nissan chassis for being so similar I'll just do a simple panel swap to a S1580 Strawberry
Oh and by the way, if i get a 180sx and it doesn't come with a SR20DET or higher I will be immediately swapping it for the RB26DETT I have in my garage at the moment.
*** i love cars.

No, a sil-80 is a S13 strawberry conversion but a S1580 is a s15 strawberry conversion.
I did my research.
Might look into a single rather that a twin turbo though... dont want to kill myself.

no, a sil-80 is a 180sx with a S13 front end not a S15.
Google: Sil-80 then Google: S1580.
My work here is done...

The sil-80 is traditionally a 180sx with an S13 front, but they are more recognized for that because the sil-80 is not nearly as sought after as it was years ago.  By definition, any 180 with a silvia front is a sil-80.  I wouldn't bother classifying it as an S1580 because there are so many different classifications like that and they are pretty much all made up.  The Sil-80 is actually recognized by almost everyone.  Besides, saying S1580 suggests that the base model of the build is an S15, which it's not.
