so i am having a little trouble find performance parts in the US for my lexus....but over in japan my lexus is the toyota aristo and it has the same engine as mine it's the 2JZ-GE i want to make it turbo and what i am wondering is will the toyota parts fit my lexus?...also my engine type is the same as the toyota supra can i use the turbos off of that engine to make my engine the 2JZ-GTE? any help would be really appreciated

there are a lot of other differences between the 2jz-gte and the 2jz-ge besides the turbos. just get a 2jz-gte and swap it in, it should be pretty much be a direct swap.

is there a way to just upgrade the 2jz-ge? what are the differences between them? about how much is the 2jz-gte? im ballin on a budget....so if i don't have to swap i really don't want to...so can you give me some ideas?

compression ratios are different. GTE also has oil squirters for the pistons. heads are different. exhaust ports are different and the internals are different. GE's internals can only handle about 400hp safely before needing an upgrade. GTE's can handle a lot more.
these are the major differences i can think of. if you google 2jz-gte and 2jz-ge differences a bunch more will come up.
if you just want to slap a turbo on your ge you can do that but it won't perform as well as a real gte.
also after looking at all this a 2jz-gte swap might not be a direct swap like i thought. it can still be done, i'm just not sure how easy it is now.

do you know where i can get just the engine? instead of find a car with one in it....and i have another concern i am an amputee i lost my right leg so i need to drive an automatic will the automatic transmission be compatible with the engine?
