hey guys, I have a few questions. Well actually, basically what I want to know is how much it would cost, and what I would need to go from:

My car, fwd 1.5l 4cyl. 1999 Nissan Sentra

to something fast. As in fast I mean around the speed of a stock Impreza STi or faster. Like good acceleration and a nice sound. I like the sound of a supercharger and I hear they usually range from 400-1000 dollars on ebay or craigslist. If possible I'd like a list of components with the prices.

Thanks!

Pretty much a new engine, like an SR20 or a CA18, and even those aren't putting out as much power as an Sti.  So basically I would get one of those, redo the internals, and upgrade the turbo system and completely redo the exhaust for better airflow.  Remember that an Sti is AWD also, and there is pretty much no way around that.

Now you wont get the power close to an Sti from a Sentra without spending enough money to buy a good used Sti. Since the Sentra is fairly light you can put a full exhaust from header back, short ram with hood scoop for forced air intake, performance plugs, wires and ignition and maybe some underdrive pulleys. But dont forget all the upgrades need good stopping power. I recommend cross drilled rotors with ceramic pads. Thats my opinion though.

You forget there is a 2.0L version.
