Is it just me;
is it natural to feel like I’ve slipped into an alter ego or something; when I strap on my  05 STi /  pushing 400 whp  400 lbs of torque?  It’s like driving a car with super natural abilities, simple daily driving  task like merging on to the freeway and making land changes seem so trivial. Just a slight touch on the gas and that crowed of cars that was blocking me and not wanting me to pass become a distant image in my rear view mirror. Is this a normal feeling?

Pretty much lol.  Performance like that can pretty much take anything on the freeway like they're nothing.  Personally I love down shifting and nailing it to get around some ricer.

Thanks for your response and your kindness in not pointing out my typo [lane not land]. It is nice to know that I have not crossed over to the dark side or something lol. But you have helped to confirm my feelings that tuner travel at the speed of thought is a cool way to live on the extreme side of life

As long as you keep it safe. My thing always is "Do what you want as long as no one else gets hurt". I use to get into the 200+ km/h in my accord on the way to work when no one was on the roads
