Hey guys, I'm looking to buy my first tuner car. I can spend about 5k on it so i need to keep it simple. Some ideas i had were to either like a 97-99 eclipse or an integra similar to those years. There really arent any other restrictions on buying it besides the 5k part and that tuning it wont get me bankrupt in one day.
Thanks for your advice in advance.

Look for an early 90's 240sx. Maybe a 90's eclipse gsx or gst.

Any of the older turbo cars will give you a good bang for the buck & still allow you some money for mods. FC3S RX7 Turbo II's, MKIII Supra turbo's, 1G DSM's among a few others. Happy shopping.

^ LOL the 7MGTE is a good motor, & with the MKIII supras you could always go with a 1JZ, a 2JZ or the 1UUZ

With 5k and a job you could get a pretty decent deal if you put 2 down on a 10k car. I work 2 jobs, 1 to support bills, and the other to put parts in the 01 celica gt-s.
