D16 to B16A Swap?

I was wondering how difficult the swap would be from my D16z6 to a B16A2(engine only) or (full swap). Which would you prefer, I understand the Full Swap would come with everything I need, but do you think if i just got the engine B16A2 would it be able to work with my manual transmission. I am newer to the engine field, taking an engines class this coming semester, so I am looking for information. Another question I had was, how important is the LSD on an engine? and what civic engine does it come in. Any info is appreciated, thanks
