Can any one explain the Pros and Cons of upgraded Clutch systems.
Stage 1, Stage 2 etc..

And the benifits of a short shifter.

Thanks-

Typically the differences in stages correspond to their abilities to handle more power and torque. The higher the stage, the more power it can hold. The con to that would be a stiffer clutch pedal feel and harness while driving on regular streets. Higher stage, less streetability.

Short shifters allow a shorter shift throw(or reducing the gap in between the "gears" or gates in the shifter column), thus allowing for "quicker" shifts. Typically they also offer a better (mechanical) shift feel with the use of urethane bushings.
