Tiberon Engine Swaps..

so im buying a new car.. I want a 240sx, a prelude, or a GSR teg and i would swap either a SR20DET, or an H22A into the first two cars.. Obviously the GSR tegs engine would be ok. But if i couldnt find a stock/good condition of one of those cars i was considering buying a new gen 2006-2009 tiberon.. I know i know there slow as *** my gf has one and my stock 97 maxima is quicker. But they look good and have potential to look better with lowering springs, rims, windows etc. What are my options for swapping in a better quicker engine into it?  

Unfortunately Tiburons don't have much in terms of modding and they're not really known for engine swaps. Hyundai doesn't really make any nice engines, unless you count the RWD engines available in the Genesi (plural?), but they won't fit in a FWD Tiburon without some crazy mods. Best bet would be to turbo and rebuild the Tiburon engine.

well theres definately no way im buying a tiberon then ha. Any ideas on good tuning cars? i have a basic knowledge of cars and tuning and looking to get into building up a sick tuner car. Obviously like i said a 240sx, Integra GS-R. Didnt know what else i could mod easily.. RX-7 if i could find one. But these cars are relatively hard to find in good condition in my area (Columbus OH). 240 is my first choice then a GSR since rx-7s are rare and expensive. Can preludes be that quick? i know base models and JDM are quick but what about aftermarket parts? Just looking for a good modding car. Would prefer not to get a civic cuz of how many ricer civics are out there but well see. I have about 10k to spend on the car and any mods i want to do.
