I like the car alot and I was wondering if it had potential to be a good tuner car. Does anyone else have a tiburon if so let me know what after market parts you chose for the car and how much it improved the performance.

Volcom,
The V6 Tiburon is definitely a worthy tuner car. It's not gonna have the support of a Honda Civic but you have a lot of options. You should always start by freeing up the flow of air through the engine. Add a catback exhaust, then headers, then intake in that order (cold air intake will be better). That's pretty much the standard first few improvements anybody makes. That will give you a good increase in torque and power throughout the rpm range, I would guess around 15-25 horsepower. Once this is done, you can play with the computer and fine tune the air/fuel ratio. This is a good place to start.
After these parts, I would upgrade the brakes and suspension.
