which car would you think is better between a e36 m3 sedan and a 1994+ mitsubishi 3000gt vr4 in reliability, cost to repair, performance(top speed, most hp/tq can acheive), style, and potential

well im no expert but from what i've heard on here, (someone posted a 3000gt topic) saying that their 3rd gears tops out at about 128, but his car breaks down so much he knows the serial numbers for the parts he needs. but they look awesome but supposedly are not cheap.

i don't know much on the bmw, but the VR4 is a sick car and would probably be easier to fix or mod

The VR4 is a little less expensive than the M3, but both have a heavy upkeep. However, the VR4 is faster and sexier. It's very difficult to upgrade the M3 (from what I am told, can't say for sure). I think the VR4 is worth it over the M3 (big surprise, right?)

The m3 has a LOT of potential, but it'll be a little harder to get it there.
Being real familiar with dsm, I'd say the vr4 would be a safer bet for modifying purposes. Plus it looks a little better

vr4 all the way. the mitsubishi VR4 GTO is soooo sexy and can be easily modded to add great gains to the already sick performance.
