I can't seem to find what type of engine it has and whether i can swap in a B16 or a KA... it's completely bone stock but it runs great so i think it might be worth it to try if i can find a way to install a manual tranny along with an engine that has a lot of opportunity
thanks for the help

KA series is made by Nissan and your car is made by Acura/Honda, even if you have the money and or the knowledge to weld and fabricate doing a swap like that is going to be a nightmare. As for the b16 I wouldn't bother with that either. The stock engine in a TL is already pretty powerful on its own rated at 225 hp for non type s and 260 for type s. The only problem is its a very heavy car weighing in at like 3400 pounds. If you're looking to sell it for a 240 and parts you're looking at 3-10g's depending on the trim and condition.

I wouldn't mess with that car at all. It's a fantastic daily driver and I'd simply drive it stock and sell it after 4 years, I imagine it'd go for a good price if it's in good condition.

Keep the car as is. Why swap out a V6 for an inline 4. You'll have more overall potential with the V6.

Probably cause he's 15 and doesn't know any better.

Just tint the windows and buy some rims. The TL is like the top of the Acura line there is not much more you can do to it.
