Well, I get my first car in a few months, and im looking for one now. I want a tuner car thats pretty cheap (1000$-4000$ price range), pretty fast, and has a wide selection of mods (engine mods, bodykids, etc.). I thought this would be the right place to ask because people here know more about tuners than anywhere else

a 1-4k car that you can mod fast and ISNT a honda and would be a nice choice is a Nissan 240sx.
tyhere are 2 versions, the S13 and the S14, personally both appeal to me.
in terms of body mods both cars can take anny ammount of kits and conversions, i personally like the s13 with the s15(silvia) front end conversion. the s14 kouki is a pretty sexy car too.
engine options are pretty good too, the most common are:
stock ka24de
Sr20det
Rb20det
Rb25det
Rb26det
All RB class engines are skyline engines, the rb25 and 26 being thew most powerfull that you can swap into the car.
but, in my opinion. instead of paying 5k+ for a rb26det swap, id just build the stock KA because it has a potential of getting up to 700HP with the right turbo.
plus, another reason to pick the 240sx, its RWD, now FWD which makes for better launches, the option of drifing if you into that sort of thing, and much better handling in dry conditions.
