If you are palnning on buying this car don't or try to get a 2000 civic si.If you are wanting to go turbo a D16 with a t3/t4 hybrid would be right up your ally and it is a cheap swap.

The D16Z6 motor comes in the 93 civic ex already. This is a SOHC VTEC motor. There's plenty of power to be had from this motor...of course, as with every motor, if you do it right. Don't go crazy and turn the boost up to 15 psi because your engine will BLOW UP!!!! Greddy makes a turbo kit for this vehicle. It comes complete with turbo, exhaust manifold, downpipe adapter, Greddy e-manage (necessary to tune the fuel and timing), all the piping, heatshield for the intake, and hardware.
Unless you are or you have have an extremely knowledgable friend and you guys have the tools to do it, take it to a professional shop to have it installed.
I own a tuner parts store called Edge Autosport and I can sell this kit to you for a great price. Let me know if you are interested.
