Im fairly new to really even the car scene in general. I'm looking to get a car i want speed and style and i've gone through at least 20 different cars(different models) looking for it. But i cant seem to make my decision...i really want the best i can get for between 6-8k for a starter car and ill make my way from there. I'm just asking in everyone's opinion whats your favorite car that you've driven that you have seen or whatever.

Heres a list of just the different models i've looked at not considering all the different specific cars.

Nissan: 240sx...and im not even going to bother saying skyline cuz thats never gunna happen

Toyota: Celica, Supra

Mazda: Rx-7, Rx-8, Mx-6, Mazda 6

Chevy: Colbolt SS, 91 Camaro, S10(i know its a truck but still you gotta love it)

Honda: Civic si, Accord, Prelude, Del Sol, S2000

Ford: Mustang

Subaru: CRX, Impreza, WRX

Acura: RSX, Integra

Mitsubishi: 96-99 Eclipse, Lancer Evo

....and theres probably more i just cant htink of them off the top of my head

So please just post ur opinion id really appreciate it thanks!

Well if you can only have 6-8K, then a lot of your choices are automatically gone. 93+ Supra, 93+ RX7, RX8, S2000, WRX (can be had for around 10K), RSX Type S(base could still be an option), and the EVO are out of your price range.

Right i was just kinda shooting them out there as hopefuls...cuz used ive seen the RSX, rx-8 (damaged back bumper) and S2000 for around  85-9500 which does lead me to belive theres something messed up under the hood cuz the car looks clean on the outside soo i havent really looked into themm to much.

Assuming the well-priced S2000 has hidden problems, the next best bet would be the DSM or a Mustang (either 3rd gen 5.0 or late 4th gen, granted they are obviously not imports)
A turbo DSM should be pretty cheap. Just be careful about the condition, not many people took care of those cars. I think the 1G DSM is better, but I take it you prefer the smoother looks of the 2G

This was my choice of car to mod a 93 toyota tercel with a 1.5 5efe paseo motor. I chose something original to tune that actually takes skill and lots of research other than your typical honda or nissan.
Much respect for both car makes it's usually the owners that ruin it.
Also something under the cops radar that I could swap a motor or turbo.
And since the writer of this magazine likes to call my car and others like it "the cold play" of import tuners.I though i would tell everyone it's also cousin to the toyota starlet gt.
So we can mod these cars with support from TRD!!!!
Also any one interested in seeing what all can be done to these cars should visit this site www.Tercelonline.com
So are we still "The cold play" of tunning?

I got my RSX-S for 8. You could get a decent one from 8-10 (with mods too!). Although with what I pay for insurance (collision is a *** I wish I got a 240sx, RWD>FWD.

Mazda 6 Research
Mazda 6 Car specs are often a major factor when deciding on buying a new Mazda 6. Get all of the information you could want including data on performance, cargo space, handling, fuel efficiency, and all-inclusive car specifications. The Mazda6 comes with a L4 standard engine and goes for a suggested retail price of $21,800.00. It also comes with comparable warranty coverage to other vehicles in its class. Other similar vehicles are the Toyota Prius and the Scion XB.
