Hey everyone,I'm new here, so if this is in the wrong area of these forums please forgive me. But, I am considering buying a car(when I get the money of course),I'm not sure what I want, all I really know, is that I want a cheap starting tuner car. Nothing special, just something that I can be some what proud of the way it looks after a few hundred dollars spent on it, and the occasional drag race at the local race way, so, any tips or ideas would be greatly welcomed.

Any specific year? I found a '98 Honda Civic

Price   $1,995
Mileage 219,263
Body Style Coupe
Exterior Color Red
Engine 4 Cylinder Gasoline
Transmission Automatic
Drive Type 2 wheel drive - front
Fuel Type Gasoline
Doors Two Door

Would that be a good starter car?

ide say neither.... the civic u found has way too many miles on it, and its automatic.. lolz
first of all be patient.. dont rush into things. i waited looking around for about 2 yrs till i found my 93 civic hatch with only 122k miles on it with the stock engine. look for a civic that has less than 150k miles and that is manual. make sure the car is in good condition, make sure it runs good... unless ur going to swap it.
