I'd go the CRX route because everybody and their grandmother has a civic.

I'd have to agree, unless of course you dont care about pretty much everyone else having a civic. in the end it's personal preference bro .

If you got 5-6 you definately need a new car. And to add more cash you need to scrap that dodge neon for some cash too. Don't get a civic. Get a prelude, 240sx or get yourself maybe a R31 or a crx.

Then when you get that. Start small. Get like a cold air intake because short rams are bad for your engine. And a full exhaust system not this *** I see on streets now where you get a muffler and cut off the catalylatic converter and put a straight pipe on. I'm not saying don't cut it off and put a straight pipe on just don't half ass your exhaust. Then get yourself  some cams , pulleys and a ECU Chip either from advanced auto parts or oreily's if you have either one. That should run you about  woah woah thats too much ....I just figured you want have that much money to get all that. Well , scratch everything except the cold air intake and exhaust. exhaust system 200 dollar from a muffler shop and cold air should be about 135 dollars. Don't buy it from autozone they charge too much if your strapped for cash.

Get yourself either Weapon R or AEM. K&N sucks.

well, i'm sorry to say this but well quite frankly im not ssure you really need a tuner car. from what you've said you would like one, but you could get one with maybe better mpg or just more basic features.

I guarantee a f**kin miata wouldn't whoop stephen papadakis 1200 hp civic. And you can look that up, dude. And get your feelings hurt. Plus its smaller than a miata so it most definately is faster plus the whp.

Well sir I guarantee said civic isn't driven on the road. Fact of the matter is that is what we are talking about. A Daily Driver. Not a drag car. But you can have an A for effort my friend

Yeah the Miata is a fantastic road driver, very balanced. (tho it is kinda girly, you can see past that)

I would go with a 240sx or a Civic. You could find an older model supra like an 89 or 90 single or twin turbo. Good luck
