WRX or an EVO, any AWD car would be great for your location

you might be able to find one, with 12 to spend you have a better price range then others. you might get lucky with a slightly newer model

aha, so you found the new car sticky i assume. well thats great, i read it before, and it has alot of useful tips and info for new tuners. but you can also check out the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. they are similar in a way to the WRX, they are the two cars that compete against each other, they are like neck and neck, lol. so ya, both are turbo 4 bangers with 280-300 HP and they are AWD.

Ask yourself if you should settle for a 14 second quartermile? And I hope you dont mind getting beat by Jeep Cherokees from off the line, since the GST eclipse spins the tires from being FWD. Its a fun car, but by the time you get up to 235whp, you will understand the limits of traction in a FWD GST (My brother use to own one).

The GSX eclipse on the other hand is AWD and also comes with a 4g63t. It has MUCH more potential of being fast due to the AWD.

I'd def go with the gsx if you can find you can rip that off the line with that AWD and it has alot of potential that's a great start for a car performance parts are easy to come buy and you get great power off of them I read in power pages they made a custom straight downpipe for $70 and it added 27 hp then just get youself and exhaust and you got a monster in the making

Don't believe anything you read in this magazine.  It is aimed at the "JDM kids" an their Eclipse/4g63 article(s) are full of manure.
