What do you guys think of the Hyundai Genesis coupe. I think it looks pretty good. You got a 210 hp turboed 4 or a 306 hp V6 going to the rear wheels. All for cheaper than a 370z or most other cars reaching 300 horses. The sedan has already got rave reveiws, I think this could be a contender on the future.

According to Car and Driver the V6 starts at $25,750 and the Track Edition is $30,250. Your probably thinking of the sedan.

Its not too impressive according to MT's reviews. Its a nice looking car with possibly a lot of potential, but I rather pick up a 370Z.

Hyundai Genisis: 4.6-liter V8 with 375 hp and 333 lb-ft. Those figures are with premium fuel; on regular, the numbers are 368 and 324, respectively. A six-speed automatic with manual shift capability sends the power to the rear wheels in both models. where r u getting 4 cylynder and the v6 has 290 hp
(edmunds) EDIT: my bad didnt get coupe specs

The two-door coupe will be offered with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 212 hp and a 3.8-liter V6 engine producing 306-hp. A six-speed manual transmission will be standard with both engines. A five-speed automatic will be optional with the four-cylinder engine while the V6 gets a stronger ZF six-speed automatic as an option.

I think it should be a great car. Isn't it a RWD car?  Cause if it is, I think it would be a kick ass drift car.

yea its RWD.  drove my first one yesterday at work.  i like it, but we'll see what the aftermarket thinks of it.  after all you cant really mod a car if theres no parts available lol

That is true rabblerouser, but I'm sure like the new GT-R that they will be making mods for it. It could be a great little car to mess around with. I rather get the V6, never liked V8's.

Drove a v6 6 speed last week.. WOW... would have eaten my v6 Tiburon for breakfast.
Quiet inside and rides well for a track package.  Those big Brembo brakes look great and pull this thing down fast!...  The car was retailed at $28K but should come down as more are available.

This one was black with the brown seats.  Nice leather and a decent sound system.  I also drove an automatic track v6 with the paddles... nope.. like the stick.
