I recently acquired the above car. 1st of all i know a lot of people dislike eclipses but to me it is a step up from my kia that i recently crashed. Its an auto but i can deal with it. That being said, I wanted to see if anyone on here could help with some upgrades i wanted to install. 1st- cold air intake 2nd- exhaust system, i want dual exhaust but i don't know if it's possible 3rd- shift kit for an auto? 4th- found this helix throttle body spacer, no clue what it is, anyone know?
any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I know im lacking in car knowledge so i'm sorry for any mistakes made.

Im an eclipse owner myself. First thing i did was to find out as much information as possible about the eclipse and the history. thats how i started and it made me do right decisions about my car, so i recomend you get a little bit of knowlege about it and see if you want to go through with the idea of tunning it up or getting a different type of eclipse or another vehicle.

That throttle body spacer goes right in front of your throttle body and supposedly 'spins' the air going into the manifold for better air:fuel mixture. A load of bs... Because once the air hits the runners it'll lose all that 'spinning' and is therefore useless.... By roommate has a 2000 GT. All he's done is intake, cams, injectors. There's really no aftermarket for 3g Eclipses, to be honest....

look for after market parts for the 6g72 instead of for your eclipse. the big tuner runnin the 6g72 is the 3000gt. you can find a huge aftermarket for the 3000gt i have the same problem with my 4g64. i look for parts for the 4g63 instead.

Well, it depends on what model of a 2g you get. Because they really aren't that bad.
He's got about 212whp.
Also, try what godfather said....

hmm well like i said i'm really not going for the ultimate tuner, i'm planning on purchasing an evo for the future so im not looking to drop a great amount of money. Nismo, you mean 212 extra hp right? Sorry to sound stupid. That sounds about what i want to get out of the car. If you could point me to a place to find those cams and injectors i'll be straight. Thanks guys.
