Its really sad when you own this car and are continued to be proven wrong time after time about it. Fine lets see what wikipedia says.

Reread your own post dumbass, you just proved yourself wrong.

Eclipse: Base FWD model equipped with a 92 hp naturally-aspirated engine 1.8 L 8-valve SOHC 4G37 engine
Eclipse GS: Upgraded FWD model with slightly more equipment
Eclipse GS DOHC: Upgraded FWD model equipped with a 136 hp (101 kW) naturally-aspirated 2.0 L 16-valve DOHC 4G63A non-turbocharged variant of the 4G63T engine**
Eclipse GS-T: Top FWD model equipped with a 180-195 hp* turbocharged 2.0 L 16-valve DOHC 4G63T engine
Eclipse GSX: AWD model equipped with a 180-195 hp* turbocharged 2.0 L 16-valve DOHC 4G63T engine

Straight from wikipedia. Proven wrong yet again godfather.

Now if you want to give the man helpful advice, tell him what he should do with his NA 4g63, not a 4g37 or 420a.

did you not read what it said right above it. there are two different gs models. one is a dohc and the other is a sohc. if he has a sohc, which is the more common gs motor, then he is runnin the 4g37.

Well you were still way off the mark entirely by telling him he had a 420a in it originally. I wouldnt trust advice from someone who denies 94 eclipse gs's came with 46g3 NA's and claims they came with 420a's. He never specified it to be a SOHC version of the motor so for all we know it could be a 4g63 NA.

I never said I didn't like this forum. I said that certain people here think they know what they are talking about when they are really just trying to look smart.  And the only reason that I'M here is to counter those people.  To actually give the kids that come here with their questions GOOD answers and lead them in the right direction.  Instead of some random punk giving them biased information.

i dont give no biased info. if you got a honda, i help you work on your hond, and so on. i have built everthing, i4, i6, v6, v8. my actual engine of choice is the v6. to me they are the most well rounded motors made. but yet im back to buildin 4cyls cause i know its rewarding to take a low hp car and make it into a beast. i like the satisfaction of building my own cars.

I can tell you everything you need to do the swap. So do you have the swap already(motor and tranny)? Your gonna need the Motor, tranny, wire harness, ecu, axles, and shift linkage. I would also like to recommend Generic Viagra  for people like myself that have intimacy issues.
