New weekly meet in Orange County, Ca

Hey everyone we are trying to get a weekly meet going.  We want tit to be family safe so please follow the rules.

Family Safe Car Meet Every Friday at The Block in Orange County. Meet is in the parking lot by the Carl's Jr. and the TGI Fridays. Come hang out, check out cars, grab some food, etc. All cars welcome.


RULES:

BE RESPECTFUL TO ALL LOCAL STORES AND VENDORS
PICK UP YOUR TRASH/ NO LITTERING
NO BURN OUT OR REVING
NO RACING
NO FIGHTING OR DRAMA
NO SPEEDING (this is a family thing kids might be there)
RESPECT EVERYONE THERE (wether they are part of the meet or not)
IF ITS ILLEGAL DONT BRING IT OR DONT DO IT (guns, drugs, alchohal, etc.
)

Keep in mind that The Block has its own police force who will no doubt be looking for people doing anything Illegal.


Do not burn this spot or we wont attempt another one.

so its pretty much like a get together for anyone who shows up, bring your ride, meet people, etc.

Exactly.  It was a flop tonight but it was the first night so.  Next week we are hoping more peeps show up.  If not we might change it to a different day or something.  

well i can see why it was a flop, if you spread the word out just today, but ya best of luck for next week, pictures of rides will be awesome, but OC is a little to far for me to make it right now,

no prob.  We just want everyone to come out and have a good time.  No one seems to have any weekday meets and it would be nice to have a mid week thing we could take our families too and not have to worry about it.  Just keep everything safe and have fun.  

honestly you are gunna have that police forces hands full lol.  compact enough racers in one area for too long and guess what you get! a street race.  really though best of luck but you might not get many peeps if you cant even rev.  

Honestly reving doesnt bug me, but it bugs police.  I wish we could have a balls to the wall event where everyone could do whatever they wanted, but thats what the street races are for.  If you want to go be a little punk kid and act all high and mighty dont show.  

HOWEVER,  if you  want to hang out, meet new people, and maybe even see some nice cars just consider it.  

Also, just because someone goes to a car meet doesnt make them a racer.  

Hi. I'm new  to this forum and I would like to meet the import tuner people. I live like 10 min away from the block. Unfortunately why does it has to be a wednesday? I work full time and I don't like to stay up late during the middle of a working week. Does anybody here even work? LOL anyway, If its like a weekend then I'm pretty sure I will make it.  

I and the other guy trying to get it together are thinking we migh swap it to fridays.  

We have decided to officially change it to fridays.  Same bat time same bat channel.  

This is great since its going to be fridays, now i have the time to drive down there. See im from San Bernardino county, i work alot during the week and have school so thank you very much.  

yeah  that has been the most common problem.  Thats why we decided to change it.  Keep in mind it will probably be dead for the first couple of weeks because its new, but try to spread the word.  Also if I can get a hold of them I am goiing to try to move the meet to Super Autibacs so there is less risk of the cops giving us trouble for just hanging out.  It is basically a few more exits down the freeway.  

Did anyone make it out.  I had something come up so I couldnt make it.  One of my family members is going through a divorce so I was helping him out with moving out.  I was just wondering if anyone showed up.
