Guy's I'm new to the pocket rockets, I'm a 4x4 guy (06 Tacoma 4x4) I purchased my wife a new ride back in Sept. (08 Chevy Equinox Sport) So I have her old car setting in the garage (03 toyota corolla ce) I was going to sale it but it's a great little car & cheap on gas ! So now I'm thinking I might play around with it a little, Whats your thoughts on these little cars, is it worth the time & money ? What is the first thing I should do, the car is bone stock other than a K&N drop in filter. It has 80,000 mi on it & is an automatic.
Thanks guys.

Totally not worth it, although you could throw some NOS in and make it a fun little sleeper. =)

Not looking to make a racer out of it ( but any performance upgrades are welcome ) ! Just looking to make a looker out of it, maybe  might just sale it, who knows.

Really though, newer Corollas are meant to be fuel savers and any mods done to it will most likely turn up very little hp gains. I would rather spend that money else where, like on your Tacoma =).

Didn't Toyota discontinue the Celica and MR2 cause they were planning on making Corollas more sportier?  I mean I thought I heard something about them coming  out with a Corolla that came with 265 hp stock.
