I think its really sad that the only thing that motivates you to do good is the fear of punishment and hoping for a reward at the end.

Look man, your just gonna have to realize that there is NO WAY your going to convince me there is a god, a hell, or a heaven. If there was surely mankind would of found it by now.

Also I thought I would say that all Anti-abortionists are the same, if Hitler was an anti-abortionist, they would support him simply because he opposed abortion, just like they supported the modern day Hitler of our time, George W Bush.

Why do they always confuse embryo's or a group of zygotes as "babies"? Killing embryo's does not mean killing "babies" they just say that to make it sound more revolting than it really is.

Sometimes I think the US would be a lot better off if the South had been allowed to seceed from the nation back in the civil war, so our political system wouldnt have to deal with all the idiots that the bible belt south puts into office and there crazy beleif system.  

hey, atleast we have something to look forward to. were not zombies in this world. since those that truly believe in god are always working hard to make a good life. if that wrong, then i will never be right. if you dont believe in god, then you dont believe in any consequences. since they dont believe in consequences, they do what they want. i.e. hitler, stalin, chinese government. look at history and look at the modern world, look at every starving and poverish nation. they all have one thing in common. no god.

the south would have never been the bible belt if the north had never won. if you knew your history you would know that lincoln was a republican and the liberal that was runnin for pres that year was from georgia. hmmmmmm. you need to go back to school, wait, nevermind, the school you went to probably taught you this bs.

Well actually conservatives tend to be all from the South. It wasnt a northern senator that held up the 1957 Civil Rights Act, but a senator from S. Carolina (first state in the union to seceed btw) named Strom Thurman, he set a record 23 hour filibuster just to stop it from happening, who btw, was a Republican last time I checked. You know, asides democrats from 150 years ago, you can not name any recent democrats that were against giving blacks equal rights in the last 50 years. I can think of some Democrats that did beleive in giving equal rights to members of other races, Democratic President Lyndon Johnson signed in the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the black vote tends to always side with the democrats by about %95 dem to %5 republican, and Republicans are always the ones who make off color racist remarks and think they are funny.

Look up Trent Lott, former Senate Majority leader, he thought it was too bad that Republican Senator Strom Thurman lost his bid for presidency while he was running on a SEGREGATIONIST platform. Thats why Trent Lott isnt a senate leader at all anymore because he, like so many other Republicans, make jokes about peoples race.

Conservative means to keep things the way they are. If it were up to the Republicans and the bible belt south that overwhelmingly votes for Republicans these days, the south would still be slave states with segregationist Jim Crow laws.

And FYI, France is one of the most athiestic countries in the world, with around %40 of there people saying there athiest, and they have one of the strongest European economies, with the best rail infrastructure of any nation in all of Europe. God fearing does not make for a good economy, after all if Athiesm was good enough for Albert Einstien, its good enough for me.  

trent lott is a representative from washington. he is a liberal democrat. my parents talked crap about him constantly. so, lets see, georgia, south carolina, alabama, mississippi, and tennesse have all voted democrat for the past 20 yrs. florida, texas and oklahoma, none of which were part of the south, have all voted republican. oregan, montana, the dakotas, minnisota, michigan, iowa, and nevada have all voted republican for the last 20yrs. the most racist states in the country vote democrat. gun totin states vote republican. oh, and by the way, they arent makin racial statements, they are readin the stats. in this country, black male 63% of black males are already in trouble with the law by the age of sixteen. out of that 63%, 92% of it is for drugs and theft. compare that to only 38% of white males. according to the nation prison registry, 76% of those serving time for heinous crimes are black males. 92% of all racial crimes and incidents are cause by blacks. republicans state the facts. democrats dont like to see the facts. heres another thing for you. in the past 20yrs democratic officials have been charged with money laundering, and abuse of office. democrats are all for the gay community, but you talk crap about a republican senator who is an in the closet gay. you say that the ghettos need help, but when a republican tries to do something, you say that he is just doin it becasue theyre black. the democrats complain when the republican raise taxes to cover the repairs to our countries infro structure, but celebrate when the democrats just raise taxes cause they feel that they need to. democrats are full of hypocrits.

Nope, all wrong. Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama Mississippi and Tennessee have voted for Republicans in the last 3 elections that Ive kept track of.

Trent Lott is a Republican, and a former senator, not a representative.

Republicans = Tax cut and spend, Democrats are the ones that actually Tax and Spend, they atleast have money backing there spending up.

Last 3 Republican Presidents all ran record deficits, Clinton got in BAM! We were running surplusses, then followed by Bush who ran up more deficit spending.

Yea, you Republicans like to put a spin on all the facts to suit your need.

Also, as for blacks being targeted for racial profiling more often has a lot to do with more of them winding up behind bar's. Also coming from poorer socioeconomic conditions have alot to do that as well. What you said was prejudice and a tad bit racist, which doesnt surprise me seeing as how your a Republican from one of the most racist states in the nation, Oklahoma.

Hey so did I, but people continue to attack my fundamental beleifs, and I find myself having to defend them. I tried to let it die after doowagoowin's comment, but somebody had to bring it back. To, me, if you beleive in God and creationism, your a nut, plain and simple. You do not think logically at all, you accept little storys out of some random book as fact and deny the logical scientific explanation behind it. Hell, catholic church forced galileo to be on house arrest because he claimed that Jupiter had moons. Look who got proven wrong hundreds of years later? Not Galileo.

Oh and just to Prove godfather wrong on which states voted for who, youll note that almost all the states you listed as democratic are voting republican, and almost every state you listed as voting republican, voted democratic.

 

actually, im from washington. ive seen how liberal democrats can screw up communities. three years ago 23 democrats were arrested and tried for purgery, falsifying documents, illegal tax spending, and money laundering. they were all sentenced to 20yrs. you never hear about that happening to republicans. when the first bush left office our currency was at its highest ever. when clinton left office we had $25 billion deficit, and he raised taxes by 25%.

my remarks arent racist, they are the truth. if you cant handle the truth then dont try to start crap. thats whats wrong with all you liberals, you always try to hide the truth or stay away from it. i was a cop. ive seen everything. i also moonlighted as a security gaurd. go on line and look at the national prison registry. i dont know the sight, cause at the pecinct all you did was push a button.

Well a majority of Americans beleive in Evolution more than they do in creationism. I remember seeing the poll not too long ago, only %25 of Americans beleive in creationism, and %39 beleive in evolution, %36 had no opinion.

I suggest you read the book "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins, it thoroughly explains why the chances of there being a god are so slim to nil.

And Godfather, if the democrats are so bad, how come the Republicans got there asses handed to them last 2 elections? Seems to me that the Country didnt much care for the way Republicans were running the country, after all you did have majority's in the house senate and held the presidency in 2004, and all of that evaporated really quick. Permanent majority, lol.  

cause people are idiots. they listen to stupid celebrities. the smartest celebrity is a republican. america is filled with blind followers, in 4-8 yrs they will all be choosing republicans.
