Firstly, Im getting my first car, which is my dads old '09 corolla (with half a mill kms   ). Am I the only person who dosent got 50k to spend on their first car?

The first mod I wanted 2 do to it was make my own CAI (just buy the filter, and buy plumbing pipes from home dept   lol). Do you guys think its worthwhile to do this to a engine with half a mill? Thanks alot ppl.

Any other mods that are simple and under 50-60$ will be appreciated. Thanks again.  

first off, i wouldnt even bother.  seeing as its your first car, id just drive it stock, and get used to driving period.  and a home cheapo CAI would do more harm than good, and the BEST youll get out of a CAI is like 3 hp.  keep the rolla stock, and just drive it while you save up for a decent tuning platform.  As for mods for 60 bucks? if you find a mod for that price, lemme knw, lowest ive ever paid was 160 for a CAI about 4 yrs ago
