Well remember its not always about what car you drive, its how you decide to mod it. Some times you have to make due with what you have. The essence of tuning, imho, isn't about making the most tunable car faster, its about making your car faster. Sorry to get all philosophical, sometimes I just feel like people, especially the new ones, forget what tuning is all about. But yeah, depending on whether you have a v6 or not, the v6 having more potential. Basic mods could give you some more umph, but not much. I believe you're running a f23a1 engine, if you have anything but a dx and don't confuse your f23 with the s2000's f20/f22(s2000's f series is closer to the k series engine). Your best bet for power is to swap your engine with a H22 prelude engine.

hey thanks! yeah im currently in college and work about 30 hours a week, so i need my car to be reliable, so i was thinking about getting a car that i can just throw extra money into whenever i have it, im not loooking to be fast right now, or expecting to be done right away, i want to take my time and learn how to tune and do it right, ive been looking around, im thinking about going with a Nissan 240sx, or a BMW M3, which one down the road do u think will have more potential, because like i said i dont have a lump sum to drp right now, but im gonna put a little in at a time, i really just enjoy cars and i want this to be a hobby, you know car shows, races etc. anyway any suggestions would be great thanks

Well it really depends on you. I'd get a m3 if it were an E46(2000+). Just a preference. Go with the 240 if you want a whole lot of power down the line. Just swap in a SR20DET and you'll be good to go.
