if you had to choose which would you get. i'm thinking of getting either one of the 4.

a mithsubishi eclipse or a acura intergra
integra or prelude
prelude or mithushi eclipse
lancer or civic
if you had to pick which would you pick and why. if u want reliable, not too many problems, well priced, good on gas, which has more power

is the eclipse are reliable well made car, has anyone ever owned one or know of the eclipse or even lancer are they good cars, are they just as good as the integra, and hondas. i know the hondas , toyotas can go like 380k and still go , i never heard of american cars going this far. how about Mitsubishi can they , have you heard of them go this far

is Mitsubishi a good car compared to honda or even nissan

If its well taken care of then yea a mitsu can last but most are dogged by kids.

What year eclipse? 95-99 has a turbo version thusly giving you the option on a already turbocharged car or an easy swap in the future. 00-05? has a 6g72 v6 option. Same code but toned down version as the 3000gt engine. 6g72tt swap is possible and produces nice power.

06+ has the new 3.5L mivec. with a ripp supercharger they can run pretty decent times.

overall i vote a 95-99 eclipse gsx. AWD turbo 4 cylinder. huge aftermarket and can be made pretty quick.

dont even consider the lancer unless its the evo.  my vote would have to be for the eclipse.  cheap, easy to work on, and loads of potential.

but like 94 legend said, the silverado's from the late 90's can get insane miles on em.  my buddy's finally blew with almost 800k miles, and nothing major cept a water pump, and a VC gasket.

although nobody says it th 3rd gen also has the 4g64. it is one of the more powerful natuned 4cyls. the cast iron block can take alot of punishment. you can run about  7 psis on stock innards. a 3 gen can smoke almost anything below it.

Yea but if you look at the quartermile times on dsmtuners.com the fastest eclipses all have one thing in common, there all GSX's, none of which are 3rd gen's.

If the man is trying to be fast at all, the only car in his list that has potential of being fast is the eclipse gsx, since its AWD and comes with a turbo from the factory. Also they come with bigger injectors than the 3rd gen so theres more potential to being faster straight out of the box.

theres an 02 eclipse gs in my town that runs the quarter in 11s. he only spent 4gs on parts. every car has potential. you just have to give it a little push.

one thing you should know when posting these kinds of things you should tell people what part of the country you live in. is there snow? RWD, and FWD suck in the snow, AWD will put more power to the ground and mitsu eclipses GSX's are AWD. truthfully integras are good cars but if you get the LS version you will regret it for sure its FWD under powered and you cant push the stock LS motor very hard. they will only go like 110 mph tops and that is really pushing it. i own a 1994 integra ls automatic, i hate the damn thing, if i didnt have snow here in utah i would motor swap with a k20 which is what they put in the acura RSX type S which is an integra in japan but here is the RSX. What kind of lancer also like an EVO or a FWD drive lancer/oz rally. i dont know too much about the prelude but i do know they have a little bit more power than a stock integra. the integra has a good name but that is because its a cheap car the can be customized easily and doesnt cost too much depending on what your doing.   How much money do you have to spend?
