Make sure that the 5 spd will bolt to your engine first off... secong youll need the clutch pressure plate and flywheel. as well as pedals, shifter (obviously), master and slave cylinder. all of those should be in good owkring order if your going and buying a junker. me and my buddy did exactly that on his talon... bought a junker that was in a slight fender bender (frame twisted 1/2 inch so insurance wrote it off). hardest part we hit on the swap was the pedals. if it wasnt for autozone giving us the wrong part, we wouldve had it done in a weekend. Of course we also got other goodies from it too. (intake, exhaust+headers, KYB suspension, strut bars, motor mounts) for 500 bucks (including tow fees) we got about 3 grand worth of parts.

I like your math the94legend. Theres 52 weeks in a year 52x100=5200 and how is it possible to not spend a dollar in a year? Realistically you could save around 3500-4000 if you dont pay for gas, insurance, if your not saving for college. just get a cold air intake and some used rims. don't go all out on a cav.
