Hey everyone, I just got a 300GT base model, unfortunately I couldn't find a VR4 that was affordable enough. So anyway, mine is completely stock, other than a cold air intake I just added. I've heard of a lot of people with this kind of cars that add a twin turbo to make it equivalent to the VR4. Any suggestions on this or other modifications to give some hp to it? Exhaust, power chips, nos??

Not sure on the turbo kit option. You might have to custom build your turbo kit. As for the power mods you could do a cat-back exhaust 2.5in(3in if you plan to turbo), testpipe or high flow cat, headers, and greddy emanage(or aem ems or whatever else you want) and get a tune. You won't be able to gain much from a N/A setup. Nos will give you that extra upmh, but make sure your engine is in good condition first.

Seeing you have the intake, id get the exhaust (sizes^). then depending on funding i did find a greddy turbo kit online

http://www.modacar.com/products/Mitsubishi/3000GT/GTKit/GReddy+Turbo+Kit.html

but as far as the ECU stuff, if you plan on turboing it, id wait till after to have it dyno tuned, cuz an intake and exhaush shouldnt mess with it too much, and theres no sense spending money when you dont need too.

Take some time, do your research (a 3000gt specific forum AND GOOGLE), and plan out oon paper what you want the car to do, and then throw parts at it accordingly. (dont buy headers if you plan on turboing, etc.)

I was planning on getting a new exhaust system, but didn't know what to get. Thanks!
