I need advice, I have a little amount of money and I’m only interested in the older imports whose years range from 1987-1995. I would like to buy an import but I need help deciding what. I currently own a 1972 Chevelle SS but you can’t tune it like an import, plus it sucks on gas mileage. I currently trying to decide between a 1990 Toyota Supra, 1989 Acura Integra, 1990 Honda CRX, or an 1992 Bubble back Civic. If there are better Imports than the choices I’m looking at please let me know.

It all depends on your price range.  Define "a little amount of money".  If it's 2k, then the Porsche 944 would be my choice, preferrably a 951.  The CRX would be the second choice in that range.

If it's anything under 10k, I'd say look at a 93-95 Mazda RX-7, a 95 Mitsubishi 3000GT/Dodge Stealth, or a 95 BMW M3.

id take the supra out of those choices, but im biased as i used to own one.  They are very good platforms capable of good hp, you can even gain ~20 hp just from replacing the stock exhaust as the stock is EXTREMELY restrictive. But beware, watch for BHG.  if your plannin on runnin anything over 10 psi get a MHG and ARP studs (or bolts if you dont have the ability to pull the engine).

Mazda Miata, Mazda RX-7
Mitsubishi 3000GT, Mitsubishi Eclipse
Nissan 240SX, Nissan 300ZX
Toyota Celica, Toyota Supra, Toyota MR2, Toyota Corolla AE86

Take your pick.

Pending on your budget I would go with a Subaru WRX or STI above all.

Hmm, it has been a year since this has been posted. I wonder if he has made a choice already. Hey what did you end up picking! I would like to know.
