im gettin a new job n im planning on selling my truck again. but this time im not having any second thots. but anyway i think i want a lil sports car mainly to look good n smoke those farmer boys in their v8 flowmaster trucks. but i dont need a huge amount of power
im not very picky as i am a ppl pleaser. if its pretty, its kool.
iv found some good clean affordable deals...
1995 MR-2 (non turbo) 184k $5500
1993 3000GT (ff i think) 165k manual $4200
1998 firebird (6 cyl) 141k automatic $3900
1995 talon ESI (ff) 151k manual (very clean, with a few mods)
1998 eclipse GS (DOHC ff) manual
these r all stock (except the talon) and all r very clean.
also my cousin has a pontiac G6. ill definatly have to race him n i dont want to get smoked
i guess my question is what would be the best buy. i also want to consider reliability because like i said, ill have a job

the mr2 is a very well handling car, and ill let sir scrot enlighten you on them, as im sure he (among others) will. the 3gt's, while being very good cars overall, weigh a ton (actually close to 2) and from what ive read about them are a pain to work on. the fire bird i would just forget, seein as its the v6 model with that mileage.. the v6 in those break down ALOT as well as not having too much potential in them. In order to make one of those fast i would have to suggest an LS1 swap or a 350 swap (350 motors are cheaper but you have to change k member for the 3rd gen) the talon an clipse are both basically the same (aside from the year difference). they are semi easy to work on (as long as your mechanically inclined) and both have a loyal following, however if you can find a nice one, try looking for the AWD versions with a turbo. If you cant find one, make sure the gears dont grind (the syncros in them are known POS).
BTW, all but the firebird should have at least a fairly good chance at beating the g6, if not blowing it doors off.
