i'm really curious to find out if anyone has attempted or succeeded in getting sponsored. i went to carsponsorships.com and read a little about what they had to offer but im not so sure if thats the right way to go.  

I mean that site looks ok but you never can really tell unfortunately. Those that get sponsored usually already have a load of mods on their car....mostly exterior and interior. Sponsors are not usually big on performance but pay out for stupid stuff like lighting kits and lots of "show". In most cases, just like life really, it takes money to make money.  

Carsponsorships.com is completley legit if they werent do you think Universal studios would work with them to Build the cars for FAST AND THE FURIOUS 4, or HIN would let them permanetly tour with them, plus they are the only ones in the industry recognized by the NCCA as the industry leader.Peple that werent happy with their exp with them is cause those people were simply lazy and irresponsible all you have to do to get parts from AEM,FIDANZA,FUJITA,BLAUPUNKT, ETC  FREE is go to local car shows and promote for the companys. Even if you had a complete show car you couldnt get this companys to sponsor you they wont do it cause you have to go through CS. Look at MANNY RAMDOWE WITH THE FORTUNE CARBON RX7 its the only RX7 in the world with a full carbon fiber wide bodykit compliements of being with CS, that kit is worth $30,000 veilside gave it to him cause of his wins at HIN,NOPI ETC at the CS booth.  

i didn't even notice that they were teamed up with Universal for the next fast and the furious even tho im not much a fan of the series. it still helps to know that they're legit though thanks
