None taken, but maybe theres not a awd conversion for the '03 gs because MOST PEOPLE just decide to buy common cars, that everyone knows is decent, and rather not get their hands dirty?

AWD swaps are difficult, the golf has had an AWD varient every generation thus far, if the conversion was easy to do then every GTI on the road would have AWD.
If your dead set on doing a swap then look into a RWD swap, at the very least there are a fair amount of RWD swaps for almost any car, so there are bound to be people you can seek help from when you get stuck.

thanks for lookin that up. i dont have the time to find that stuff.
i never said it was easy, i said its possible. so your "freakin awesome" mr2 is so powerful stock. the stock form has a powerful 96hp 1.6l and the supercharged version has an amazing 165hp. wow that car is amazin. now you have showed us a dyno sheet, and i believe that. i dont believe that youve only done a couple mods on your car.
the galant is an 02. in 02 they didnt make an awd galant.
the fto is an awd turbod 4cyl.

I believe he has the JDM motor which came with 225BHP from the factory. Either way the handling/braking of the car can't be disputed. Amazing platform but most definitely not a car for a novice since it takes some serious throttle control to prevent the car from spinning out.

a 91 pontiac fiero gt is wider and has 225bhp 3.8l v6 or you could get the w6 version with a sport suspension and a 300bhp supercharged 3.8l v6. they are badass. my brotherinlaw had one. it ran a stock 1/4 in the 11s. ypu can pick up a gt for only a g. i would rather have a fiero than a mr2. if his car has a jdm motor than he stuck it in there himself. thats more than what he said.

That pontiac sounds like a hell of a 1/4 mile car, and could easily run high 10's with bolt ons, but like many cars in its class i'm sure it has handling that is severely under par, even with the sport suspension.

Alright, heres the modlist for 330whp on days below 80 degrees
JDM 3rd gen 3sgte (240hp stock) KO Racing Intake Berk Side Mount Intercooler ATS 9" Puller fan Apexi n1 exhaust StreetBrawler .50 trim kit tial 38mm External Wastegate
^Now, you can replicate that exact same setup using cheaper Chinese parts, I chose to go with name brand on a lot of them. Since it has stock 540cc injectors, which is vastly larger than the injectors on most cars, I can make a lot more whp safely before running too lean.
If I add plug in 800cc injectors a $1000 Power FC I can easily see 400whp.

Heres proof godfather that the FTO is infact FWD V6 and not a AWD Turbo 4cylinder.

actually the w6 version had excellent handling. now if you slammed it into a corner from start it woud flip you around, but on a roll the car handled great.
i new you didnt have a stock motor. the stock motor only pushes 200bhp.

That depends on whats stock from the factory. Yes I am using a Stock MR2 motor, No it is not from the US.
These days, MR2's are nearly 20 year old cars, a lot of them are on there 2nd or 3rd motors, so even though it may not be a stock USDM motor, a lot of MR2's have stock JDM motors as replacements and it really isnt uncommon to find a MR2 with a 3rd gen in it, infact it makes more financial sense to increase the value of the car by swapping in a 3rd gen, than it would a 17 year old 1991 USDM motor.

yes it is smarter to put in a newer motor. the point is you only said that you did a few bolt-ons to the stock motor. if you can do a full engine swap to make your car quick, why cant we put a new drivtrain on ours to be awd. your original motor if it was a turbo only had 20 more hp than my car, but it still didnt break 120tq in turbo form. the car was zippy but not fast. i believe its fast now.
