Hey I drive a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon at the moment. I am a college student so i cant put thousands of dollars into my car(i wish i could). As of right now all of the upgrades done to my car are: Cold air intake, 4-1 headers, full exhaust system with tip, and a high flow cat. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on anything else i could add to increase power but that is relatively economical. The turbo kit for my car is about 5k but again, it is hard for me to save that much money without starving.  So if anybody has any insight or suggestions that would be well appreciated. Thank you

Thats about all you can do to your car power wise short of spending thousands, but there's aspects of a cars performance that have nothing to do with power.  I'd advise you to start investing money into other areas of your car.

All the power in your car goes through a few inches of rubber, suspensions very important.

Well some things i was thinking of was that venom performance chip and also a 65mm throttle body, but i dont know how much that will do without getting a wider custom built intake (to balance out the extra air going in). But besides that your saying i should invest in the suspension and other things.

Yep.  If I were you I'd invest some money into a set of coil/overs, rear sway bar, stainless steel brake lines, Hawk HP+ street/track brake pads, and some DOT4 brake fluid.

Forget about the larger throttle body.  A larger throttle body will only suffice gains if you bore out the intake manifold to match the larger throttle plenum, and a stand alone ECU to tune the air:fuel ratios.  You won't be able to tune with the Venom chip as it is (to my knowledge) pre-programmed for specific vehicle applications.  Also don't bother with a custom built intake.  Intake piping larger than what you have now will not suffice any gains, and would in all likelihood impair throttle response.  Cold air intakes already impair throttle response slightly, so doing anything else to delay throttle input would be something you want to avoid.

I appreciate all your help, i wouldnt have known that the throttle body wouldnt have helped. I just figured it would work well with the intake to increase air flow. And i will definately take your advice on everything. Much appreciated

Hey bro id look into other forums like i dunno come join us at newtiburon.com or hyundaihouseofpower.com

These forums here are alot i dunno.. specific if i may say. As for upgrades.. You always can do suspension and body work.. and as well as a fuel tuner even if u are N/A u can still gain some WHP outta a fuel tuner. Nonetheless alot of times peeps sell their s/c and turbo setups for about half of what they cost new. So if yah get a chance drop on by and get some help from experts on the specifics of your car.

Not saying bad advice here. just to broaden ur veiw and knowledge on ur specific car is all.
