Can any one tell me the difference between a mazda speed protege 2.0 motor and Mp3 2.0? I'm starting a project with my car already have turbo,intercooler,12:1 fmu,255fuelpump, etc. But would like to know how much boost can it hold or how much power can the stock motor withstand. thank you!!!!  

i'd say after 350 whp you should either stop or rebuid.  mazda motors are pretty stout.  reliability with heavy boost is relative to how well you are tuned.  

Thank you for your reply, I was told that the stock 2.0lt motor of my MP3 could only support 250hp to the wheels and only 8 psi of boost, But I have seen mazdaspeed protege with 300 hp and 15 psi on stock iternals,that is why I was asking for the diference of motors,since it is my first time with imports I don't know anything about these motors, but that I want it to be as stock as possible but with a turbo kit on it.
