Muscle Car or Import

Last time I looked, the name camaro didn't have an e in it.... I can't believe how much this argument gets kicked around. At least on this thread the ignorant "imports are better" "domestics are better" statement isn't common. I've had domestic muscle/pony cars for the last 26 years (yeah, I'm getting old). The last one that I still have is a 5.0 Mustang coupe. Best bang for the buck, IMHO.  it's fairly cheap to build. Just don't expect to turn corners fast without serious suspension mods like a panhard bar. But with a stock block and aftermarket cam, head, intake and exhaust, if you can't run 12's or better something's wrong. Throw a Vortech SC and better fuel system on it and it'll run 10's easy. Replace the Vortech with a turbo and 9's are possible until you split the block. When I got tired of the gas mileage though, the imports started to grow on me. I just bought an Integra for a commuter car. Now since I can't beat the need for speed, I'm planning to turbo it. All around quality of the car is great. Now that I've worked on them more, I'm amazed at the quality of the factory parts in the import engines. Another import I would consider is the early AWD Talons. They have amazing potential without the traction problems. There's lots to like with all fun cars be it import or domestic.

Muscle cars remain with the older generation. How many young guys do you see driving Big Block v8's on PINKS?

Imports on the other hand are the new generation. And unfortunately *** like F&F is making the import scene crap by inspiring rice-ification. XD

They're two different worlds. It's like comparing broccoli and dirt. It's retarded.
