i was looking into buying a car from a company in japan but im afraid of being ripped off the deals look to good to be true which usualy means they are has ne one bought a car from over seas and could you lead me to a good company and did you have agood experience thank you

Its very hard and very expensive to import a car from Japan, and that doesn't guarantee that you will even receive your car. It may get impounded at the port and you've just lost whatever you put into the car. Most people who get cars from overseas are military so they are able to transfer their car from Japan to the US. Very few companies are legit. Even the legit ones have gotten into trouble(ie MotoRex, importer of the only legal R33 Skylines). Check out www.nicoclub.com/articles/skyline-import-1.shtml. The article may be able Skylines, but it gives you an idea.
