Currently there are 2 turbochargers out right now for the civic si which is the Xtreme and the Greddy turbo kits. While gaining more horsepower from more boost with the xtreme kit the greddy does have other qualities that make it a close match. Which one should i get?

neither. AJP is over priced (going up to 4.5g's in June) and Greddy doesn't have the tuning ability. Redshift is releasing a stage one and a stage two turbo kit fairly soon. This kit will make a lot more power for the same amount of money, and be much more reliable.
