Hello I am new here but a big fan of Import Tuner. As some of you guys may already know, Hyundai is working on a rwd coupe which will consist of a base i4 turbo 215HP, and a N/A V6 producing around 300HP. Even though this is a Hyundai, this is good for us because there is no small affordable rwd coupe on the market in the states right now and other companies will follow. Do you think there will be aftermarket support for a Hyundai rwd coupe once it hits production? Will Greddy, Injen, AEM, HKS, etc. will possibly produce aftermarket products such as turbochargers or superchargers?

I think it's going to boost the Tuner market expedentially. I also think that if manufactuers like Greddy Injen etc. DON'T jump all over this, they need a new dission making proces. Although I think they will, even if it's just for the profit side of things; At least we'd get new parts.

After market support will largely depend on the popularity of the vehicle. As long as the price is right this car should be a huge success so I think the after market parts will be available.

I worked as a detailer at hyundai for a while and i thought the same thing..."I don't even want to touch these piles" But the job had its perks cuz anything from our BMW sister store their 1 detailer couldn't handle, we got to play with (which was quite a bit)...ANYWAY lol...I'll be the first to say that hyundai really really got their *** together w/ their '06 line up. And the genesis is the name of the chasis...wether or not its also the name of the car is to be decided and seen. I can't say much about this car yet as no one has really got a good look at it, BUT i can tell you they got their *** in order, i wouldnt be suprised to see a real nice car hit the market.
And for you nay-sayers...check out a nice veracruz...the only BMW i would take over that is the 4.8 x5...its pretty tight
