Whats up Import Tuner forum. Im 22 living in Ontario Canada and curently own a 240sx..however im in the market looking for a new car within a year or two and I came across the new Hyundai Gen Coupe and created an account for the purpose to ask the Mag and import lovers such as myself to start a debate over products, knowing that cali is more into the future import trends....My questions is this..knowing that the Hyundai should have two different engine platforms...the turbo 2L Four at 200hp/ or the 300hp v6? Which do you think will be the more popluar engine for tuner based products in the future? And in the drift circit? Knowing that the 2L is lighter?and a cheaper model to buy...and both have 6 speeds?.dont ask..I know its a Hyundai.  

if the only difference between the two models is the motor, its safe to say the turbo four will be much more popular among tuners.

factory boosted motors make more power in the long run since they are already setup for forced induction.  the v6 is NA, harder to make the same gains (relatively speaking) and doesnt hold up to high boost.

factory turbo cars will always be more tunable and responsive to mods.
