Nobody other than a few regulars on this site ever post threads.  Even the few there are never post many new threads.  This site is starting to get a little boring (understatement) so lets get this forum going a little.

Im probably the oldest member that still visits here, since 2gnteclipse doesnt really visit much anymore.

Ive been on this forum since december of 2002, anyways, its always had very little forum membership. For the longest time, we did not even have admins or anyone from importtuner that actually was concerned with the "forum" section of there website, which I found was kinda funny since I saw there multimillion issue magazine advertising for it.
'
Always has been, I dunno if it always will, but the format of the forum has not changed much, and I visit here everyday anyways to see wut new is a brewin, but for my MR2 troubles I go to MR2 forums and spend a lot of my time foruming there.

I dont think this forum will ever take off in membership if it hasnt since when I joined.

I think that once people find a better Forum for help they stop coming to this one.

bonus of this forum is its organized far better than other forums ive been on.  i go 8thcivic.com (all civic si's) and solo2.com (autoX).  they have 100x more membership and more topics with tons more activity but its hell to find the threads uve been on.  its a damn shame this one sucks so bad.

Im also a member of 3si.org Its strictly for the type of car i drive just like sirs with his mr2.

And agreed with the organization etc. Its extremely annoying when a post can be 3 pages back within one day.

Also as sirs said. Its always been a small community. Or atleast since i joined which was around 03-04.

people just dont come here because all this site talks about is modifying cars, which to me is important but not exciting, maybe if people posted all their crazy storys or wild near death expieriences along with video footage, this site would have some viewers, but instead you argue what you think of the new sti hatch garbage and other bland topics which attract nothing. what else, rich enthusiests building super cars for the cover of a magazine to show how much money they can blow.

I think it has more to do with this forum members having little in common other than we all tune imported cars.

THe forums that are popular, everyone has one distinct feature in common. Like my local street racing forum is way more popular, because we all reside in the same city.

The MR2 forums I visit, everyone is a MR2 owner.

Reading a couple issues of import tuner, does not make for something that we really have in common with one another. We cant meet each other on a local level because the members are scattered across the nation. We can not sell parts from our cars to one another, because we all tune different vehicles.

As a result this forum probably will never really take off, but I like a small forum, people seem to be a lot friendlier and less garbage talk amongst members.

Also, I dunno if its true on this forum, but street racing is frowned upon by most car forums I visited.

agreed, its to bad people cant all communicate, i cant say theres a better feeling than cruisin 100 plus with other modded rides, i just hate hunting porsches on off interstate ramps.
