I wouldn't personally buy from any sites. Just try and find a local police auction, you could pick up a car for really really cheap. (try and find a caprice, they dont look too pretty but they perform much better than the newer standard police cars)

You can get all kinds of cool stuff at a police auction but usually you buy stuff as is, complete with blood, and bulletholes.  In the case of cars, same idea you buy it as is.  However normally the cops strip those things down searching for things like drugs and weapons and don't usually do a good job of putting them back together.

Well its not like there is going to be a pool of blood in the trunk, its more like a stain. And a lot of times in the case of a car getting stripped in search of drugs and weapons the cops dont put it back togather, thus explains the cheapness of the cars. I think its worth it though.

I've worked in the auction business for too many years to count LOL
If you want a good deal on a car from ANY auction remember this
1. Look at the potential car VERY carefully.
If you don't know what makes a good car at a glance bring along someone who does. It may cost a few bucks, a case of beer. whatever. It will save you money in the long run. If you aren't sure don't buy it. or buy it at such a low price you can either part it out or resell it at another auction if its a P.O.S
2. Realize that the car is at the auction for a reason (It may be a P.O.S.) It may need LOTS of repairs. Bid accordingly.
Hope this helps

go walk all over the yard of somebody who has a dog's yard. Eventually look on your shoe and you will figure it out.
